| The entrance to the Jesuit Retreat House near Oshkosh Wisconsin. In the sixteenth century, Ignatius of Loyola founded the Company of Jesus, a name chosen to remind his followers that the great model of their lives would only be Jesus. They came to be known as Jesuits, originally a term of derisive identification. This Jesuit Retreat House was founded in 1960.
