| Large crowds gather annually with the local Bishop on August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to honor the Queen of Heaven with a rosary procession and outdoor Mass. This Marian Year, 1954, it is estimated 15,000 people gathered.
