Heading back to open sea, our destination is now the continent, not just the islands, of Antarctica. The Captain of the ship learned the largest iceberg currently afloat, the second largest ever, 90 miles long, 30 miles wide, and 80 feet high, was near enough to our course to divert the ship so we could see it. It is named A68A This is about half of it. I could not get a good picture of the rest of it before the ship began its turn around to resume course. Sunrise 2:39 a.m. Sunset 11:26 p.m.
